We want to raise environmental awareness and replace conventional plastic in dog waste bags. That is why we developed biodegradable dog waste bags that are OK compost HOME certified.
Biodegradable dog waste bags – OK compost HOME certified
Biodegradable dog waste bags are manufactured with around 30 % renewable raw materials. When incinerated with residual waste, our bioplastic has an advantage over bags made from virgin PE: the plant-based share only releases the CO2 that the plants previously absorbed from the atmosphere during growth. This share therefore produces no additional fossil CO2. Our packaging is made of FSC®-certified cardboard and can be recycled via waste paper collection.
Our dog waste bags are tearproof and moisture-resistant; the matt finish gives them a pleasant feel.
It is important that the degradation of the dog waste bags also works in the environment. Our biodegradable dog waste bags are compostable according to EN 13432 and additionally OK compost HOME certified: their biodegradability is tested at 20–30 °C, i.e. at significantly lower temperatures than in industrial composting and within the range of natural ambient temperatures. How quickly microorganisms actually break down the bag in nature depends on local conditions. In our test, the bags showed clear signs of degradation in nature after just a few days (see the video: Biodegradation of TSP home compostable dog waste bags in nature). The test was our own, non-standardised field trial and cannot be generally transferred to other environmental conditions.

Well-conceived design – made for dog owners
The poop bags offer a particularly secure and less direct feeling due to their thick design (18 micrometer). The 23 x 33 cm large dog waste bag provides adequate space for the hand. This extra-large design allows easy handling.
The 8 small rolls, ideal for pockets and most of the clips, are held together by a paper sticker; the core of the roll is made of cardboard.
